Curiosity...
The name derives from caper, a Mediterranean plant of which the island is covered; it is an uninhabited island, with a sparse and low vegetation made of thistles, artemisia, menubi. It has an area of 44 hectares its rugged coastline of life to a series of small coves where the water takes on different colors depending on the vegetation present. The Architiello is of great visual impact, a natural architecture created by the hydrodynamic action of water on the limestone.

Today most of the island is part of zone B of the Marine Reserve of the Tremiti Islands, an area forbidden to boats to preserve the coasts and marine species of this island intact.
